Mr. Rodriguez has mare than 35 years of experience in the computer industry, focused almost entirely on data storage technology. Much of his experience has been in starting and building successful data storage companies. After several years in tape engineering at IBM, Mr. Rodriguez co-founded Storage Technology Corporation in 1969, first in tape programs, then the as General Manager of Disk operations, followed by General Manager of Optical Disk Operations. In 1985, he co-founded Exabyte Corp., where he held the positions of chairmen, president and CEO. In 1996 he co-founded Ecrix Corporation. Since 1992, he has been a professor in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a Fellow of IEEE.
